“Just a girl with a story.”
Lucky for us that story is incredible, inspiring and full of hope.
Stephanie walked into the coffee shop a full 30 minutes early for our chat. I thought she must have had our interview time wrong, I was wrong. She showed up a half hour early to do her thing.
Handing out T-shirts and a Sharpie for people to write on the shirt with, the unsuspecting folks who just happened to be in the right place at the right time won’t soon forget her. Stephanie is a natural engager of people (total strangers in most cases). Stephanie has a way of reaching straight through any guard that you may have up to protect yourself from others. No guard needed here, nothing to be afraid of but maybe getting very real and honest. She is the kind of person who most folks feel instantly at ease with, like you have just met one of your lifelong best friends for the first time.
Four or five T-shirts and photographs later, we started our chat. We learn the why, how and what behind Stephanie, the T-shirts and the Sharpie. Plenty of great advice. Plenty of inspiring words. One amazing story.
